Depending on the plan, it can cover bicycle theft, accidental damage, personal accident cover for the cyclist and liability for damage to third parties. Some coverages are optional, so check what each policy includes.
Can I insure an e-bike in Colombia?
Yes. Some insurers accept them. SURA, for example, insures e-bikes as long as the rules don't require them to have SOAT or registration. Tell us the model and we'll tell you which options cover it.
How much is bicycle insurance?
It depends on the value and type of bike (road, mountain, urban or electric), the city where you ride and the coverage you choose. We get you free quotes from several insurers.
What do I need to insure my bike?
The bike's details (brand, type and value) and your personal details. Depending on the insurer, they may ask for a virtual inspection. If you're a foreigner, tell us your ID type and we check which insurers accept it.
